Company: A one-year-old startup at the time of this project; designer and developer of telecom networking switches that feed voice and data streams to core optical networks. Target Audiences: Potential customers (telephone companies, ISPs); telecom industry analysts; telecom industry press. Project: Site redesign. Year: 2000 Objective: Change the "simple, old look" of former website to something more cutting-edge that portrays the company as a major player in the emerging optical networking market. Design specs: Use color schemes that complement the red of the logo. Design should be scaleable and modular, with areas for callouts or special programs. Description: A second design option. The "ghost" of the logo emblem in the left column would be a repeated Flash element, in which the logo is "drawn in" with subtle, slow movement. Navigation, callout and content areas are clear and scaleable. | ||||||||||||||
