Company: A non-profit internet-based mentoring program designed to provide youths from underserved communities with mentors, career options and technological experience. Target Audiences: Teenagers from underserved communities; potential volunteers from a variety of professions; schools and youth agencies. Project: Site redesign. Year: 2000 Objective: A dynamic, friendly site that conveys the meaningful contribution the organization makes to the lives of its mentees and mentors alike. Design specs: Colorful, clean, spirited design that communicates a sense of multi-culturalism. Logo (especially the "i") should be prominent. Design for 640 x 480 monitor resolution, but allow for scalability. Description: Colors are bright and warm. Elements of the logo frame the page and are incorporated throughout. The graphics convey an easy flow of information and communication, with the header images designed as puzzle pieces coming together through technology and mentoring relationships.
