Project: Site redesign
Year: 2000
Objective: To introduce a new look and feel to coincide with a major conference opening.
Design specs: Enhanced logo and logo animation; scalable, intuitive navigation; use of dhtml.
Description: The focus of the design is the logo icon of the sphere with the star. This is the main design element and Flash area, reinforcing branding and establishing a strong company statement at first glance. Navigation appears directly under the logo. Other items of interest are clear and accessible. On the lower left is a flyout "Welcome" tab which offers a brief company description.
